Downloads required for all Merlyn users:

  1. In the Management Console, search for the name of your district and click Claim to the right. 
  2. From your email, click on the Activate link in the licensing email you should have received from licensing-no-reply@merlyn.org (subject shown below).LicenseEmailSubject.png
  3. In the Admins tab of the Management Console, add up to 19 additional admins who will be able to manage the devices and users for the organizations.
  4. In the Rosters tab, add all of the users in your district who will be using a Merlyn remote. 
  5. Implement this Allowlist with your Network Team to ensure Merlyn can be used with your district network. 
  6. Share the apps! Let your educators know where they can find and install the Chrome extension and Merlyn Desktop Application. They will need both installed and running in order to use their new remote. If you use an MDM, please let your teachers know the name of the site or portal where they can safely download the application. 

*Districts within NYC: The Department of Education requires you to follow these steps to download

the Merlyn application and browser extension.
