Why doesn't my computer microphone work after connecting Merlyn Origin?

On some Windows and Mac computers, the Merlyn Origin microphone can become the default system microphone. 

Solutions:

Windows: Open "Sound Settings" on your computer. Under "Input" confirm that Merlyn Origin is not your system default input device. If needed, please change the default device settings to your preferred system microphone. 

Mac: Open "System Settings" on your computer. Click "Sound" from the left sidebar and choose "Input" from that page. Confirm that "Merlyn Mind Origin" is not selected from there. 

💡 Each app may have it's own input settings; be sure to verify that the input source within the app you are using is not Merlyn Mind Origin.
