Q: Why would I need to find my device ID on the desktop application, and how do I find it?
A: If you submit a support ticket, including your device ID will help us track errors. You can find it when you open the Merlyn Desktop App, click on the "Account" icon on the right, then click on "About Merlyn Origin".
Q: When using a Mac, why do I get a connection request when I use the receiver?
A: Mac uses an authentication code to ensure you are only connecting to a trusted Bluetooth device.
Solutions:
- Click "Connect" to clear the message and allow the connection to take place.
- If you are still have trouble connecting, try unplugging and re-connecting the receiver into a different USB port.
