Annotation with Origin

You can annotate content displayed on your computer using the Annotation tool!

To open the annotation tool, say "Open annotation."

The toolbar will be displayed at the bottom of your screen. 

Other voice requests for this action include:

  • "Begin annotation"
  • "Start annotation"
  • "Go to annotation"

Use the AirMouse and Voice Requests to interact

Click and hold the center orange button to create a shape. Release when you are done. 

Change the color by clicking on the color palette on the annotation toolbar. Color choices are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, black, and white. 

You can also change the color using a voice request!

  • "Change the color to blue" will make your next annotation blue.

To erase your annotation, use the eraser icon on the annotation toolbar or use a voice request.

  • "Erase annotation"
  • "Clear annotation"

Stop annotation and get back to controlling your computer

To stop annotating, click the "X" icon on the annotation toolbar or use a voice request.

  • "Stop annotation"
  • "End annotation"
  • "Close annotation"
  • "Exit annotation"

Note: You have to exit the Annotation tool in order to interact with your computer as normal.
