Using Merlyn in Spanish

Your favourite Merlyn features and commands are now available in Spanish!

 Required: Merlyn Origin 2.3.0 or later installed

Functional on Origin, Origin on ChromeOS, and Display.

Voice Commands

• Press and hold the microphone button on your Merlyn remote and say "Switch to Spanish". Merlyn will show a confirmation dialogue:

• To switch back to Merlyn in English, press and hold the microphone button on your Merlyn remote and say "Switch to English". 

Teacher Toolkit

• Click on the Profile icon in the upper right hand corner of the Teacher Toolkit and choose Settings from that drop down.

• Click the drop-down under Language to choose between English (US), English (UK), or Spanish and click Save when done.

FAQ

• Spanish works best with commands given entirely in either English or Spanish. Mixed-language commands are not supported at this time.
• PrepTime output is currently only available in English. 
• On Display, the app will restart when you change languages. 
• Display commands currently only control browser based interactions. Native Newline panel tools are not yet supported by Spanish interactions.
