Software Downloads
All Merlyn users will require the following software:
Claiming Your Organisation
- In the Management Console, search for the name of your district.
- Click the Claim button next to your district name.
Activating Your Licence
- Check your email for a licencing email titled "Activate Your Merlyn License" from
licensing-no-reply@merlyn.org. - Click the Activate link within the email.
Adding Admins
- In the Admins tab of the Management Console, add up to 19 additional administrators. These users will have the ability to manage devices and users for your organisations.
Adding Users
- In the Rosters tab, add all users within your district who will be using a Merlyn remote.
Network Allow List
Work with your Network Team to implement the provided Merlyn Allowlist. This ensures seamless use of Merlyn within your district network.
Distributing Software
Educators:
- Let teachers know where to locate and install the Chrome extension and Merlyn Desktop Application. Both applications need to be installed and running for them to use the new remotes.
- If you use a Mobile Device Management (MDM) system, inform teachers of the website or portal where they can securely download the application.
