Software Downloads

All Merlyn users will require the following software:

Claiming Your Organisation

  1. In the Management Console, search for the name of your district.
  2. Click the Claim button next to your district name.

Activating Your Licence

  1. Check your email for a licencing email titled "Activate Your Merlyn License" from licensing-no-reply@merlyn.org.
  2. Click the Activate link within the email.

Adding Admins

  1. In the Admins tab of the Management Console, add up to 19 additional administrators. These users will have the ability to manage devices and users for your organisations.

Adding Users

  1. In the Rosters tab, add all users within your district who will be using a Merlyn remote.

Network Allow List

Work with your Network Team to implement the provided Merlyn Allowlist. This ensures seamless use of Merlyn within your district network.

Distributing Software

Educators:

  • Let teachers know where to locate and install the Chrome extension and Merlyn Desktop Application. Both applications need to be installed and running for them to use the new remotes.
  • If you use a Mobile Device Management (MDM) system, inform teachers of the website or portal where they can securely download the application.
