How to Manually Update Your Merlyn Desktop App

Windows

1. Go to apps.merlyn.org
2. Most users should click the big green button to download the .exe installer.
3. Once the download has completed, open the downloaded app (it should be labelled app.exe). Allow the installer to update the app.
4. Once the install is complete, the app will re-open. You may be asked to login again.

Mac

1. Close or quit the existing Merlyn app.
2. Go to apps.merlyn.org and click the big green button to download the zip file.
3. Unzip the downloaded file.
4. Drag the new MM Desktop icon to your Applications folder in Finder and choose "Replace" from the pop up.
